Note, I did not resolve this exactly, but worked around it. I found that CC 72, 0-63 (Previous Preset), 64-127 (Next Preset) solves the problem. This doesn't appear to be documented in the manual, but is documented on helixhelp.com
Thank you so much for your videos and files -- without your work I would not have taken the plunge on the Midi Baby 3. I do have something weird, that you may have experience with. I want to use FS4/FS5 as preset up/down, because I prefer that over the Midi Baby choosing the first preset when I press the left/right switches the first time.
Note I am just using the MIDI port, and setting the function of FS4 and FS5 on the HX Stomp, if I do the long press then, the HX Stomp changes presets in that direction indefinitely until I press the opposite switch. It is as if the switch is latching.
